I made this for a friend’s birthday. The cayenne pepper adds a wonderful bite, while the banana makes it extra smooth.
1 box (4 servings) strawberry jello
1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
3/4 cup boiling water
8oz cream cheese
3 tbsp sugar
6oz vanilla yoghurt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 soft banana
1. Clean strawberries. Cut into rough quarters and cover with 1 tbsp sugar. Mix, and set in fridge.
2. In small bowl, mix cayenne pepper and jello mix. Add boiling water, and stir until fully dissolved. Add strawberries. Place in fridge or freezer to set until thickened, but not firm.
3. In large bowl, beat together cream cheese and 2tbsp sugar. Add yogurt and banana, and stir until evenly mixed.
4. Layer the yoghurt and strawberry evenly with 2″ layers in eight glasses so the last layer is strawberries. Set in fridge until ready to serve.
